Our expertise

The Competition & Regulatory practice group at Banning is made up of specialists with extensive experience, gained among others in Brussels and Amsterdam. The young and enthusiastic team provides high-quality legal services with a practical and effective approach. An approach that appeals to many (international) businesses, institutions and government organisations. We assist companies in cartel and abuse cases at the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM), in merger cases at the ACM and the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) and in legal proceedings. We regularly advise on cooperation agreements, both between competitors (horizontal agreements) and within the supply chain (vertical agreements). We also advise various industry associations in their activities. We are (and have been) successfully involved in high-profile cartel, merger and state aid investigations in among others the food industry, the construction (materials) sector, the real estate sector, the postal and packages sector and the sports sector.
