Gaby Heere specializes in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, management buy outs/buy ins, (private) investments, asset transactions, joint ventures and supervising (international) due diligence investigations. Gaby has been admitted to the Dutch Bar in 2000 and has 17 years legal experience in corporate law and financial law. She has a Master in Dutch Civil Law at the University of Utrecht (major in corporate law). Degree in the English language and literature at the University of Utrecht. Gaby successfully completed a postgraduate course “Mergers & Acquisitions” at the VU Law Academy of the University of Amsterdam. Before joining BANNING she worked at NautaDutilh, Holland van Gijzen and Lovells.
Gaby leads the Corporate/M&A practice of BANNING. She has specific experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, management buy outs/buy ins, (private) investments, asset transactions, joint ventures and (international) due diligence investigations. Gaby has acted for multinational corporations in setting up or winding down of corporate structures, including the financing thereof.
Gaby has broad experience in drafting and negotiating commercial (sale) contracts, supervision of large due diligence projects for corporate clients as well as private equity, on the buy- and the sell side and advises in (inter)national acquisition structuring and corporate restructuring.
Legal advisor to various corporate finance companies, private equity (investment) companies national companies.
She is, among others, a member of the Association for Corporate Litigation, the IBA M&A Committee, the Dutch Corporate Finance Association, Dutch Association for Private Equity.
