After studying notarial law and completing a postgraduate course in tax law, and after gaining work experience in trade and industry and at tax consultancy firm, Mick van Waateringe worked in the interdisciplinary legal practice as from 1987. Mick was appointed as a civil-law notary in Amsterdam in 1995.
Before setting up his own firm in 2015, Mick managed the notarial practice of one of the larger international law firms for a long period. His clients range from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), family businesses and non-profit organisations to Fortune 500 listed companies.
Mick has broad expertise, focused on a Dutch and international consultancy practice, among other things, with a great diversity of legal issues and areas of interest, such as types of business and legal forms, restructurings, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, governance issues, directors’ and officers’ liability, shareholder matters, private equity and estate planning.
