Eveline Rijken obtained a master’s degree in Employment Law at the University of Amsterdam in 2009. In 2006 she completed a Psychology course at the University of Utrecht. After her law studies Eveline gained experience as an employment lawyer at a legal aid insurer. She has worked as a lawyer since 2011 and has been a member of BANNING’s Employment Law practice group since May 2015. Eveline specialises in employment law and pension law. She advises and litigates on a wide range of subjects, including reorganisations, individual dismissal cases, issues related to transfers of business, incapacity for work, amendments to employment conditions and disputes with industry-wide pension funds.
Eveline successfully completed the postgraduate Employment Law Course at the VU Law Academy (VULA) in 2011. She has also taken extension courses in the field of pension and has worked as a pension law author for Sdu Uitgevers. Eveline is a member of the Association of Young Employment Lawyers (VJAA), the Employment Law Association (VVA) and the Pension Law Association (VVP).
