Geke studied Dutch Law at the University of Nijmegen and has worked as a lawyer since 2012. She has been a member of BANNING’s employment law practice group since May 2015. She completed the Grotius Employment Law specialist course cum laude in 2016.
Geke advises and litigates in the fields of both individual and collective dismissal law and on a wide range of other employment law issues in a broad sense. One of her special areas of expertise is advising healthcare institutions, for which she has supervised several reorganisations these past few years. She furthermore has knowledge of specific legislation and regulations in the healthcare sector, including the Wet kwaliteit klachten en geschillen zorg (Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act) and the Wet medezeggenschap cliënten zorginstellingen (Participation (Clients of Care Institutions) Act).
In addition to her work as a lawyer, Geke also regularly organises courses, seminars and presentations related to her area of expertise.
Geke is a member of the Dutch Employment Law Association.
