Joris de Wilde studied Dutch law at the University of Leiden, from which he graduated in 1997. He is a lawyer since 1998. In 2004 Joris successfully completed the Grotius specialist course in Finance and Securities.
In the Company Law practice group Joris is a highly specialized and successful litigator. In that capacity he frequently represents clients before different judicial and arbitration courts. The areas in which Joris litigates are company law/partnership law, the law of obligations and liability law.
Joris has a special focus for the construction sector. He advises project owners and contractors in design and performance disputes in complex projects. Often he acts in disputes concerning construction overrun, indemnities, warranties and liabilities.
