Mark Bannenberg started to work as a lawyer in the corporate practice in 1984. He initially specialised primarily in proceedings before courts, courts of appeal and arbitral tribunals. From 2001 to 2015 Mark was chairman of the board at BANNING. During that period he also acted as supervisory director and consultant for various companies and families. That broad management experience has made him aware of the importance of preventing problems and disputes by means of a sound business organisation. Risk management, data protection and privacy are central themes in that regard on which Mark advises, varying from shareholder structures to shop floor processes. Mark and his team also still litigate on a regular basis, in close cooperation with our Supreme Court lawyers, since there are always cases in which such litigation is unavoidable, such as obvious breaches of contract, which often occur in competition disputes.
