S.K. (Sophia) Wittkämper

Sophia Wittkämper obtained a bachelor’s degree in Dutch Law at the University of Leiden. She also studied at the University of East Anglia in England for one semester, where she took classes in the field of European law and competition law. Sophia has completed the specialist master’s degree European Competition Law and Regulation at the University of Amsterdam.
In addition to her studies Sophia has worked for the law faculty of the University of Leiden, among others, as chair of student society ELSA Leiden, and as a student assistant at the department of public law. She also completed internships at the Competition and Public Procurement practice group of a Dutch law firm in Brussels, and at the Competition and Public Procurement department of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Since November 2016, Sophia works at Banning for the Competition & Public Procurement practice group, where she started as a paralegal, and works as an attorney since February 2018. Sophia focuses on European and Dutch competition and public procurement law.
