Ph.C.M. (Philip) van der Ven
Philip specializes in construction law, procurement law and insurance law. In construction law the emphasis of his work lies on the supervision of design, realization of the work and construction time overrun disputes. He also advises on forms of cooperation in the construction industry. Philip litigates regularly before the Council of Arbitration for the Construction Industry and before the civil courts.
Philip works for clients in the construction industry (project developers and local authorities), for executing parties (contractors, facade builders, installers and suppliers) and for consultants (architects, installation consultants, project managers and directors). Furthermore, he also has experience in solving procurement disputes. In the field of insurance, Philip works for insurers (including credit insurers) and for policyholders, with emphasis on insurance cover disputes.
