Jan-Willem’s practice focusses on the tax aspects of employment relationships, such as the drafting and implementing of remuneration and employee participation schemes, assisting clients in wage tax audits by the Tax Authorities, and advising on the free movement of employees. Jan-Willem also regularly litigates a wide range of disputes between employers and the Tax Authorities in the field of payroll tax.
Jan-Willem’s clients include Dutch and international companies, for which he acts as a strategic sparring partner to the board, HR and compensation & benefits professionals. He is primarily called on to handle complex legal issues, challenging him to find a simple but effective solution.
