M.A.J.G. (Marc) Janssen
attorney-at-law | partner
Marc Janssen is a cassation lawyer at the Supreme Court of the Netherlands and is head of the Scientific Bureau at Banning. He has extensive knowledge of general (national and international) contract and property law, insolvency law and (international) civil procedural law.
Primarily, Marc is called in by lawyers from other firms to advice on and conduct cassation proceedings and preliminary-ruling proceedings. Private individuals are also able to find Marc for their cassation appeals. In addition, Marc advises lawyers (“Lawyers Lawyer”) when conducting appeal proceedings (with a view to possible cassation proceedings). As a cassation lawyer, he is first and foremost a lawyer, not a law theorist. However, analytical skills and scientific knowledge are necessary in cassation and ensure that the interests of clients are represented as effectively as possible at the highest civil court (Supreme Court).
Attention to detail, without losing focus on the main issue are characteristic of Marc.
