A.J.M. (Arjen) de Bruijn
attorney-at-law | partner
Arjen has been active in real estate since 1997 and has been a real estate lawyer since 2000. He mainly advises and litigates on real estate transactions and investments, commercial rental law (VHA, cum laude), construction law, sale and delivery, project development and on real estate-related corporate law.
Many of Arjen’s clients are active in real estate themselves, both in the Netherlands and abroad. They include investors, family offices, contractors, property developers and property financiers. But he also assists companies that are not active in real estate themselves. After all, almost every company comes into contact with real estate, if only because it is run from an office, shop, hotel, warehouse, logistics centre, etc. Arjen also acts for franchise chains.
Arjen’s working method can best be summarised as follows: practical when possible, detailed and sharp when necessary, but always inspired and involved. In addition to the interests at stake, he always looks closely at the characters of those involved and the other party. That is often where the profit lies.
Clients tell Arjen that he is “to the point”, can think strategically and often comes up with creative solutions.
